On 16 March 2021, Sikkha Asia Foundation distributed rice, food, hand sanitizers, masks, and other items at three schools in Samut Sakhon Province: Wat Sutthi Wararam School, Wat Plai Khlong Noi School, and Luang Phae Gyor Song Upatham School.
More than half of the students in these three schools are Myanmarese.
Due to the second wave of covid-19, the opening of the schools was postponed from the beginning of March and officially opened on 15th March 2021. However, only 40% of the students attend the school at this moment. The students said that they were happy to be able to come to school.
