On 11 March 2021, Japan marks 10th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake, Seeker Asia Foundation organised an event to pray for those afflicted. Children and representatives of the slum community mourned the victims of the massive earthquake and tsunami. The ceremony attendees wrote support messages on cards and banners, and made a thousand paper cranes to pray for peace.
A member of Seeker Asia Foundation read a book about tsunami to the children. The event ended with the lighting of candles by the children and the sang songs to cheer for Japan.
